Worst. Marc. Show. EVER!

And by worst I mean the single most amazing night of music I've ever seen.

Marc & the Sinners at the King King (Small club) in Hollywood.

Ben Harper on lap steel on When You Go, Shining Again, Darling I've Been Dreamin', and Johnny Too Bad.

Warren Haynes and Matt Abts on Two Mules & A Rainbow, Just Let it Go, and Goin' Down.

Marc & the boys played lots more songs... the show was over 3 hours long.

I can't even put it into words. Absolutely ludicrous. I can't hear a freakin' thing and it's wonderful. -SheGaveGoodHead

I have to agree...That might be the best night of music I have ever seen. I thought my head was going to explode. The guy on the harp was "the shit". He blew the roof off the place. What's his name? I'm hung over. -guitfiddle

Wow! The show was just insane!!! I don't know what to say really.. probably the best show i've seen from the Sinners. I really got the old Malibu Inn vibe last night, people dancing up front, packed in crowd, lots of friends, it felt good.

They did some sweet jams too near the end and Feels Like Doin' Time was Super Long. Goin' Down was just KILLER with the dual guitars of Warren and Marc! Matt Abts threw down some solid beats as usual. Jason was great on the hammond (i think); he got a nice solo on Smoke Signals, which was Epic, with another insane guitar solo. He even played congas later on. When You Go and Shining Again were pretty sweet with the Lap Steel too, Ben was stoked to jam with the band!

here are some of the other songs i remember them doing: California, Cane Lady, Cane Lady, That's the Way It Goes, Wake Up & Walk Away, Cry, Moan, & Wail, Idle Time, That Same Thing (with Hook on harmonica), I Found You, Be Over Soon.

and im glad to see Jason didn't just ditch the band!! he said he was out of town last week so he couldn't make it.

EPIC!!! -ChiefCrowe

Wow! What can I say?!? THERE IS A GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! This show was absolutely amazing, and it was a complete joy to not only listen to, but also to watch the musicians on stage. The facial expressions of all were priceless - from Marc smilling while playing a simple rhythm underneath Joyner's solo during Shining Again to Ben's eye-widening recognition of Nesmith's solo during Johnny Too Bad to Jason Yates' glowing stare of awe at Marc's solo during The Same Thing to Matt Abts' beaming grin at every moment on stage to Warren Haynes' playful gaze during the interplay between him and Marc at the end of Goin' Down - they were all so genuine!!!

On top of all that, the crowd was energetic, mesmerized, and the largest I've seen to date at a Marc show, even though the venue was not sold out. Furthermore, the majority stayed to the end, which was close to 2:00am, and many were dancing right up to the very last note. I did happen to glance around the place and look at many of the faces in the crowd, and I saw many in awe, shock, and joy - both recognizable and not. People were absolutley loving every moment, and I got a kick out of that just as much as I did with the show itself. -bodenzord
